Hello!
My name is Ale Ortega-Romero and I'm a Panamanian-Mexican illustrator and visdev artist. I hold a BFA in Illustration and Visual Development from Ringling College of Art and Design, and I have a background in animation from Digipen Institute of Technology.
I primarily create diverse character designs and environments stemming from my upbringing as a Caribbean artist from Central America, which it's my fountain of inspiration. I especially love messy and cluttered interiors with small easter eggs for my enjoyment and silly animals in cute clothing.
I have experience working in animation and Webtoon as a background artist and colorist. In my personal work I like to explore mixing traditional and digital art!
